Belhaven, NC, a truly "Beautiful Harbor," offers both visitors and residents the charm and warm hospitality of small town life. Located on the shores of Pantego Creek and the Pungo River, Belhaven has it all: a mild four-season climate, unlimited recreational opportunities, a local medical facility, schools, also a myriad of cultural and social activities, affordable cost of living, and a lively business community.
The Belhaven Community Chamber of Commerce has been serving the Belhaven area since 1952. We strive to partner with local businesses, government, and education to support a favorable economic environment in the Belhaven Area of northeastern Beaufort County. Belhaven has become a premier destination for retirement living. The Chamber represents 135 members who depend on the Chamber for member services including membership events, community and business development, ribbon cuttings, growth opportunity reports, economic data gathering, relocation packets, and being an advocate with governmental and regulatory bodies. The Chamber acts as a clearing house that provides area tourist information, maps, and updates on area event and attractions. These are but a few of the services we provide our members.
The Chamber’s objective is to provide a foundation from which our members can enhance their business or organization through networking and programs designed to improve their business and to make available the tools necessary to help them excel as the economy improves. Our mandate is to pursue opportunities for education and retail development to bring more to Belhaven. We are working diligently to ensure that our local economy is strong and vibrant.
To our members: Your membership in the Belhaven Community Chamber of Commerce is an investment in our community. Thank you for your continued support of the leadership of the Chamber, and your commitment to our community. And remember, any community worth living in is worth supporting.
